Band booster Fundraising clubs are a blessing to the members of the band. Having a committed band booster team  to support the band fundraisers are invaluable to band directors. With every rising expenses of band equipment, trips and unexpected expenses, band fundraising has become a necessity.

Sometimes it takes a good old-fashioned band fundraiser to motivate your band members. With the rising cost of expenses such as: band equipment,out of town trips and uniforms and band fundraiser will come in the nick of time. It may take a little extra prompting from the band director to make your band fundraising programs successful.
Here are a couple of tips on how to get this ball rolling.

Set goals for your members
Ask band members to sell a certain number of products. Many times members don't sell because they are not asked. Setting a goal to reach, results in tremendous profits. Notify every parent of your band fundraisers.( I can't tell you the times my school has had a fundraiser and I didn't know it was going on! How frustrating!)
It's fundraising season again! Get your positive attitude ready for a great candle fundraising season. Candle fundraisers are great all year, but especially in the fall. Major holidays are in the fall. From Thanksgiving to Christmas, candle sales are at a all time high. They make wonderful gifts for teachers, bus drivers, cafeteria workers and front office staff.(Don't forget about yourself)

Whew! Your fundraiser is over! Money has been counted, product delivered and problems solved.  Without a group of  supportive volunteers, your fundraising programs can be very stressful. The ideal situation is a team of responsible and kind people. A few groups are lucky  to have this situation. Most are not.

Each volunteer should be appreciated. This can be shown in a variety of ways.
A thank you letter describing your appreciation can go a long way. Acknowledgment is important to people who give  of their time. Your letter might go something like this:

Dear(Personally write each person's name)

I would like to personally thank each person that has helped with our fundraising events.
Your committed service to our(school,sport team,church etc....) has helped us with the progression of our fundraising program. Fundraisers are an important part of what we do.
The finances realized from these program,  helps our (school, sport team, church etc...) immensely. I hope I can count on you next year to help.

Girl scout troops have  made a place in the United States since March the 2nd 1912. This organization has helped over 50 million  girls throughout North America. Cookie fundraising has served as a highly successful fundraiser for the scouts for years.Girl scouts sell millions of boxes a year. The troops make about .50cents a box. Sometimes this doesn't amount to enough profits for the troop. This is not to say that this isn't a great fundraiser, sometimes a troop needs another source of fundraising.

Candle fundraisers work great for girl scout fundraising. Girl scouts have several ceremonies that include candles. The rainbow candle ceremony or the Juliette low eternal flame are just a couple of the popular events when girl scouts use candles.
